SMS Consent & Opt-In
Textbo enables fixed base operators (FBOs) to communicate with pilots via SMS. Pilots must provide explicit consent before receiving any text messages. Below is the opt-in process used when an FBO registers a pilot's aircraft.
Add Aircraft — Pilot Registration
How It Works
- A pilot arrives at the FBO and provides their phone number and tail number to the front desk.
- The FBO operator enters the pilot's information into Textbo and confirms the pilot has consented to receive SMS messages.
- The pilot receives a welcome text message confirming they've been registered.
- The FBO and pilot can now exchange SMS messages about fuel, services, departure times, and other operational needs.
Opt-Out & Message Details
Pilots can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Message frequency varies based on operational needs. Standard message and data rates may apply. Textbo sends only operational messages related to FBO services — no marketing or promotional content. For support, contact [email protected].
